The University of Texas at Tyler's College of Nursing and Health Sciences is currently
seeking participants who have been diagnosed with paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation for
a research study.
The study specifically needs male or female patients, 50 years of age or older and
will include continuous electrocardiogram monitoring as well as vascular function
and nutritional status assessments.
Dr. Arturo Arce-Esquivel and Dr. Jimi Francis, UT Tyler associate professors of health
and kinesiology, will hold an orientation meeting for those who meet the above requirements.
The orientation meeting will be 10 – 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 in the Herrington Patriot
Center (HPC) on the Tyler campus.
