UT Tyler to Present Fall Choral Concert Oct. 13

The University of Texas at Tyler announced that the Patriot Singers and UT Tyler Concert Choral will present their 2018-19 season opener at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at First Presbyterian Church of Tyler.

"Shout Glory!'' will be the theme of the concert, which will feature a mix of selections from around the world.

General admission will be $7 for adults and $5 for students and children. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at patriotsingers.org.

"Join us as we welcome in the fall with music of the Renaissance, gospel, American folk tradition and new contemporary choral works,'' said Dr. Cameron Rose, UT Tyler director of choral activities. "Our choirs continue to excel in strength, versatility and musicianship, and listeners of all ages have come to enjoy and anticipate performances from our singers.''
