UT Tyler Announces 2016 Homecoming Oct. 10 – 15

The University of Texas at Tyler will hold 2016 Homecoming Oct. 10 – 15, Ona Tolliver, assistant vice president for student affairs and dean of students, announced.
Traditions include the annual Homecoming Carnival, golf cart parade and chili cook-off. New activities this year include the Patriots Eat & Greet Friday, Oct. 14 for the entire university community as well as the Patriots Got Talent competition.
The UT Tyler women's and men's soccer games will be 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively, Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Citizens 1st Bank/Perkins Soccer Complex. In addition, a fireworks show will begin at approximately 7:45 p.m. Show sponsors are Citizens 1st Bank, Dakotas, Einstein Bros Bagels and East Texas Pyro.
