Tom Tibiletti, attorney at law, has been selected as chair of The University of Texas at Tyler Longview University Center’s Development Council.
Tibiletti will follow outgoing chair Robert Wilson, president of R. L. Wilson and Associates, who has led the council since 2013. Jay Garland will assume Tibiletti’s previous responsibilities as the council’s new vice chair.
The council also welcomed four new members: Todd Anderson, president of Stemco; Andrea Mayo, assistant superintendent Longview schools; Jesus Rabadan, owner of Blown Away Landscaping; and Julie Woods, owner of Julie Woods & Associates Real Estate Firm.
“The Development Council is composed of an amazing group of people who serve as ambassadors for the LUC,” said Dr. Van Patterson, UT Tyler LUC director. “Last year they raised more than $100,000 to help fund LUC projects and scholarships. We are grateful to every member of the Development Council for their support and encouragement.”
Members of the 2015-16 Development Council include Nancy Abernathy, Todd Anderson, Amy Brown, Dan Fiscus, Jay Garland – vice chair, Peggy Garland, Jennifer Harris, John King Jr., Carla Mann, Andrea Mayo, Carolyn Northcutt, Barbara Pool, Darryl Primo, Jesus Rabadan, Perry Reed, John Robbins, Linda Robinett, Eric Ruff, Linda Thomas, Tom Tibiletti – chair, Robert Wilson and Julie Woods.
