The University of Texas at Tyler will present the senior exhibition “Mind, Mood and
Matter” beginning Monday, April 20 in the University Center gallery, Ray Sikes, gallery
coordinator, announced.
Featured in this final spring 2015 senior exhibition are UT Tyler student artists
Emily Kangerga Ricks of Henderson and Lorie Parsons and Michelle Taff, both of Tyler.
A public reception with gallery talks will be 6 – 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22 in
the University Center.
The exhibition, which is executed in partial fulfillment of UT Tyler’s bachelor of
fine arts degree, concludes Friday, May 1.
Gallery hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by special appointment.

Housed within the College of Arts and Sciences, the UT Tyler bachelor of fine arts
degree program offers students an opportunity to concentrate in two-dimensional studio
art, three-dimensional studio art, multi-media art, art history or general studio
art. UT Tyler students may also seek an all-level teaching certification with the
degree.
