The third annual Tyler Mini Maker Faire kicks off 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 18 at the Discovery Science Place, a University of Texas at Tyler center.

More than 30 makers from throughout the state will share their talent with guests, showcasing their wares and demonstrating their skills.

Main acts featured on the main stage are Mario the Magician and Zeke’s Hands-On Science Show. Main stage shows are scheduled for 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Drones and Quad copter demonstrations are at 11:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

General admission tickets for Maker Faire are $8 for adults and $6 for children. Discovery Science Place members receive a 50 percent discount.

Discovery Science Place is a nonprofit science center founded in 1993 with the mission of igniting curiosity in young minds through fun, hands-on exploration. DSP is open 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday. Museum admission is $6 for children and $8 for adults. More than 50,000 guests visit Discovery Science Place each year.
