The University of Texas at Tyler College of Business and Technology and Center for Retail Enterprises will hold the 2015 Retail Summit, Dr. James Lumpkin, college dean, announced.
The event will be 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 1 at the UT Tyler Ornelas Activity Center.

This year’s “Growing and Retaining a Loyal Customer” panel discussion will feature retailer, industry and technology perspectives. Panelists are Thao Khammouane, Wal-Mart – Tyler Neighborhood Market Health & Wellness manager; Justin Clark, Nestlé Retail Operations Center retail sales representative; and Al Meyers, independent retail consultant.
Participants also will learn about UT Tyler College of Business and Technology’s new certification programming.
The UT Tyler Center for Retail Enterprises is dedicated to providing East Texas retailers with continuing education and professional development. High quality faculty- and student-based consulting is available during the fall and spring semesters.
