The University of Texas at Tyler College of Nursing and Health Sciences, in conjunction with Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals, will present the first Interprofessional Evidence-Based Practice Conference, Dr. Tai Wang, college dean, announced.
The public event will be 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25 in the UT Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center and features keynote speakers Dr. Ellen Fineout-Overholt, UT Tyler Mary Coulter Dowdy Distinguished Nursing Professor, along with Dr. Bernadette Mazurek Melnyk, associate vice president for health promotion at Ohio State University.
