The University of Texas at Tyler will hold Spring 2015 Passport Day 9 a.m. – noon Saturday, March 7 at the UT Tyler Ornelas Activity Center, Dr. Teresa Kennedy, Office of International Programs executive director, announced.
“The UT Tyler Office of International Programs has partnered with the U.S. Postal Service to provide this important service to the campus community and public,” Kennedy said. “We want to make applying for a passport convenient for everyone.”
Cost is $110 (passport book) or $30 (passport card) plus a $25 execution fee. Cash or check only for all payment. Photo services will be available on site for $15 per person. All passport applicants must provide their social security number, obtain proper paperwork prior to the event and not sign the application until instructed to do so by the acceptance agent. The passport application form will be available on site.
As a reminder, those who study abroad must have a valid passport, Kennedy added.
