The University of Texas at Tyler Meadows Gallery will feature “Blak-uh n-hwahyt: Truth in Black and White” beginning Monday, Feb. 24, Ray Sikes, gallery coordinator, announced.
A public opening reception and gallery talk will be 6 – 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6 at the gallery.
The public exhibition continues through Friday, April 4 and features black and white prints by artists Mark Anderson, Richard Ash III, Karin Broker, Abhi Ghuge, Katherine Liontas-Warren, Philana Oliphant, James R. Pace, Nancy Palmeri, Chris Stewart, Karl Umlauf and Liz Yarosz.
Ghuge and Pace are UT Tyler art faculty members. Pace also serves as exhibition curator.
The Meadows Gallery is located in the UT Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by special appointment.
