The University of Texas at Tyler will hold its third annual Passport Day 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at the University Center, Dr. Teresa Kennedy, Office of International Programs executive director, announced.
“The UT Tyler Office of International Programs has partnered with the U.S. Postal Service to provide this important service to the campus community and public,” Kennedy said. “We want to make applying for a passport convenient for everyone.”
Cost is $110 (passport book) or $30 (passport card) plus a $25 execution fee. Photo services also will be available for $15 per person. All passport applicants must provide their social security number, obtain proper paperwork prior to the event and not sign the application until instructed to do so by the acceptance agent.
The passport application form will be available on-site. As a reminder, those who study abroad must have a valid passport, Kennedy added.
