The nursing program at The University of Texas at Tyler Longview University Center is currently registering students for the fall semester, Dr. Van Patterson, director, announced.
Opportunities are available for students who are considering becoming a nurse, or going back to school to earn their bachelor’s degree (RN to BSN). Interested students must register soon in order to begin this fall. Classes begin Monday, Aug. 26.
“Our BSN program provides additional education not typically found in a two-year degree program,” said Michelle Livingston, RN, BSN, pre-nursing adviser. “In addition to the traditional science and anatomy courses, students also complete classes in leadership and management. The result is a graduate who is well-rounded and more marketable. Students who complete the program are being sought after across the state of Texas and the nation.”
Prospective students should contact Livingston at 903.663.8100 or by email at mlivingston@uttyler.edu to schedule an appointment. Livingston will be able to discuss specific program requirements and provide assistance with the registration process.
Additional information about the nursing program is also available online at www.uttyler.edu/luc.
