The next exhibition at The University of Texas at Tyler Meadows Gallery will feature work by studio art graduate student Abhidnya Ghuge of Tyler, Ray Sikes, gallery coordinator, announced.
Her site-specific art installation titled, “éska pàyd,”will begin Monday, March 18.
Ghuge will give a talk about her work at noon Wednesday, March 20 at the gallery. The exhibition will continue through Friday, March 29.
“The installation is comprised of thousands of paper plates printed using a woodblock printmaking technique. In this exhibit, visitors would be able to walk through the installation. Visitors may leave comments about their experience in the guest book,” Ghuge said.
This public exhibition is prepared and executed in partial fulfillment of UT Tyler’s master of fine arts degree.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by special appointment.
