To further assist graduate students with their academic and professional success, The Graduate School at The University of Texas at Tyler is offering the Fall 2012 Graduate Student Workshop Series, Dr. Donna Dickerson, school dean, announced.
The workshops will be held this semester in the UT Tyler University Center, room 3322. They combine theory and hands-on practice for developing graduate-level scholarly research, writing skills and presentation skills as well as GRE preparation, formatting a thesis or dissertation and loan consolidation.
Registration and other workshop-related information may be found online at the workshop series website.
“We’re excited to partner with faculty members and UT Tyler Robert R. Muntz Library staff to offer an expanded workshop series this fall. These free workshops will help sharpen our students’ skills in the areas of academic and professional/career development,” said Dr. Alecia Wolf, assistant dean of The Graduate School at UT Tyler.
This is the second year for the series, which resulted from student and faculty requests.
