To further meet the needs of students, faculty and staff, The University of Texas at Tyler Writing Center has extended its services, Dr. Hui Wu, Department of Literature and Languages chair, announced.
The center now offers online tutoring as well as delivering services at the UT Tyler Robert R. Muntz Library.
"The Writing Center is very excited to be expanding services beyond our excellent in-person tutorials by allowing students to make appointments for online-only tutorials when they cannot be on campus," said Dr. Emily Standridge, center director. "The center also offers a greater variety of times when students will have access to our services this semester with the addition of 'After Hours Drop-In' services on the main floor of the Muntz Library."
The UT Tyler Writing Center is located in the UT Tyler Business Building, room 202. Regular hours are 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Friday. After Hours Drop-In hours are 8 – 10 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the library.
The Writing Center is a place on campus for students, faculty and staff to seek assistance on writing projects and enhance their writing skills. To schedule in-person or online appointments, the UT Tyler community may call 903.565.5995.
