Briana Sutton of Mineola, a graduate student at The University of Texas at Tyler, will have artwork displayed at this year’s Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art exhibition in Augusta, Ga.

The show, titled A Sense of Place 2012, will begin Friday, Sept. 14 and close Friday, Oct. 12. Sponsors are the Georgia Council for the Arts and National Council for the Arts.

Sutton will graduate with a master of fine arts in spring 2013. She currently is a graduate teaching assistant within the university’s Department of Art and Art History and has had other work exhibited in and around the East Texas area.
