IT PURCHASES:

The Management Responsibilities Handbook states: All IT related purchases need to be reviewed by IT before the purchase is made or the PO is created.

Should you choose to purchase an item that is not approved, please note that IT Support will not be able to assist in the installation or support of the item.

If non-approved purchases create security risks they will be removed from network access.

For your convenience and the easiest way to get quotes for Technology related purchases:

• Navigate to help.uttyler.edu
• Select Technology Purchases, which gives you access to: Computer Accessories, Pre-Approved Software, Quotes - Non-Standard (for custom computing devices), and Quotes - Standard (for Pre-Approved Desktops, Laptops, Microsoft Surface, Monitors, and Tablets)

• Once on Technology Purchases page, click the "+" sign in front of Quotes- Standard to view all the Pre-Approved Desktops, Laptops, Microsoft Surface, Monitors, and Tablets.
