Duplicate Content

Duplicate content from one page to another is prohibited. The UT Tyler website maintains extensive Web-based information that should be referenced by using assets or linking directly to the content. Examples of authoritative sources:

• Visit the UT Tyler core curriculum.
• The current tuition and fees schedule is now available.

Uploading Duplicate Files

Always link directly to the current file on the UT Tyler server. It is not appropriate to copy into your directory and link to it.

Examples:

• Link directly to the academic calendar instead of uploading a copy of the PDF and linking to it from your directory.
• Link directly to sections of the UT Tyler catalog instead of uploading copies into your directory and linking to it from your directory.
