What attracted you to this field?

Always inspired and motivated by technology. My curiosity to know and analyze how the electrical systems and electronic devices work sealed my interest for higher studies in Electrical Engineering.

Why did you choose UT Tyler?

I knew UT Tyler has a strong engineering program with outstanding faculty and facilities. Also, the tuition fee is affordable.

What do you like most about UT Tyler?

I enjoy friendly campus atmosphere in UT Tyler. A lot of friendships are formed especially during my research. I was fortunate to do research in the area of FPGA's.

What are your career aspirations?

There are always new innovations on the current technologies. My goal is to update myself accordingly to improve my technical and interpersonal skills and contribute to research.

What's your work experience?

I am an Applications Engineer in Semiconductor division at SPEA AM. My work mainly involves with analyzing the device specs, PCB design, application development and testing the corresponding devices on Mixed Signal Semiconductor testers.

Do you have any advice to pass along to other students interested in this program?

Set goals and be determined. Interaction with Professors is very important. Regular meetings with your advisor play a vital role in accomplishing the task successfully.
