Biography
Bryan Knous serves as the Career Success Coach for Soules College of Business at the University of Texas at Tyler, where he also earned his bachelor's degree in speech communication.
After graduating with his bachelor's degree from the UT Tyler in December 2021, he began his higher education career as an Admissions Specialist at Tyler Junior College. Encouraged by a mentor in his department, Bryan transitioned to a Career Planning Specialist role, kickstarting his journey into career coaching.
Since May 2023, Bryan has been dedicated to supporting Soules College of Business students as a Career Success Coach. He is a certified Clifton Strengths Coach and holds a certification for the Strong Interest Inventory. Bryan is also an active member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoACE). He hopes to gain further certifications, training, and degrees in the near future.
Bryan is from Van, TX, originally. Outside of his coaching career, he volunteers at the Tyler Civic Theatre as an actor, director, crew member, producer, and member of the Board of Directors.
