Malek Bekka, a standout in both engineering and community, began his journey in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He excelled in soccer, joining UT Tyler's team and winning a National Championship in 2003 while earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2008.

Malek's professional career started at EMA as an Energy Engineer, eventually becoming a principal and contributing to the SOLVE department's success. Besides his career, he's a devoted father of three and an active member of the Tyler community and St. Mary Magdalene Church. Malek's life exemplifies the balance of professional success, family values, and community involvement.
