Student Accessibility and Resources

The UT Tyler Office of Student Accessibility and Resources (SAR) provides students equal access to all educational, social and co-curricular programs through coordination of services and reasonable accommodations, consultation and advocacy.

We work collaboratively with students, faculty and staff to create a supportive educational environment.

Note: Student should only enter their Patriot Email in the application for faster processing.  Once an application has been submitted it is usually processed within 48 weekday hours. The student will receive an email directing them to contact the office to set up the required Intake appointment. Availability for Intakes may take up to 2 weeks. It is the student’s responsibility to apply for and obtain accommodations in a reasonable time frame. During the final three weeks of the current semester intakes may be held but accommodations will not begin until the following semester unless the condition is determined to be temporary and crisis related.
