Center for Environment, Biodiversity and Conservation
The UT Tyler Center for Environment, Biodiversity and Conservation is a collaboration among faculty from multiple departments, including the Department of Biology. The center conducts research on the conservation of species and biodiversity and finds practical solutions to the problems of vanishing biodiversity and species extinction. Many of the center’s activities start with a regional focus centered on the natural heritage of Texas and further factor in cultural, economic and environmental impacts on a global level.
