Jennifer is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in enhancing the quality of life for individuals across all age groups—children, adolescents, and adults. Since joining The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center in 2009, she has played a key role in several grant-funded research initiatives, including the COPD SMART program and the Behavioral Health Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment. Jennifer currently serves as senior program manager for the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program.

With a master's degree in mental health counseling from Walden University, Jennifer’s approach to patient care emphasizes empowering individuals to take charge of their physical and mental health by fostering a deeper understanding of their diagnoses, advocating for their well-being, and working toward an improved quality of life. In 2020, she achieved her Licensed Professional Counselor- Supervisor status.

In her personal life, Jennifer enjoys spending quality time with her family and actively participates in community events.
