UT Tyler and NTCC Industrial Technology Degree High School Prep

Prepare for Your Road to Success

High School

Sophomore Year

Plan now to take dual-credit courses from NTCC during your junior and senior years. Talk to your high school counselor about your plans, and ask them to help you arrange your class schedule so that all necessary courses are taken in the proper sequence.

  • As you are deciding which courses to take, be sure to consider those that fulfill the degree requirements for the NTCC associate of applied science in industrial technology degree and the UT Tyler industrial technology bachelor of science degree.
  • A high GPA increases the likelihood of admission to these programs.

Visit the Northeast Texas Community College website and the UT Tyler Longview University Center website to learn more about the industrial technology degree programs.
