Congratulations! If you have completed 30 hours of dual-credit courses you will be entering Kilgore College as a sophomore student. At this point the road splits and you will need to decide whether to follow the path to earning an associate degree or bachelor's degree in nursing.

ADN Track: If you decide to pursue an associate degree in nursing from Kilgore College, you will need to complete the courses set forth by the Kilgore College associate degree nursing program. This program has been providing quality nursing education since 1969 and is accredited by the Texas Board of Nursing, Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, the Southern Association of Colleges and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. BSN Track: As you are deciding which courses to take during your sophomore year of college, be sure to complete all the prerequisite courses required by the UT Tyler School of Nursing. These courses must be completed with a grade point average of 2.75 or higher prior to being considered for admission to the School of Nursing.
