The Data Analytics Lab in the Soules College of Business performs cutting-edge research in Textual/Financial Prediction, Sports Analytics, Healthcare Informatics and business intelligence.

The lab features eight high-end workstations for faculty, graduate assistants and students, two powerful servers for analytics and machine learning and a 10GBps network connection to the NSF supercomputers at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC).

Founded in 2015 by Dr. Schumaker in the Computer Science department, the Data Analytics Lab has been a focal point of analytics work at the University of Texas at Tyler.
