Course evaluations begin today!!

Students may win one of three mini iPads by completing course evaluations and registering for the iPad drawing.

Course evaluations can be completed beginning today and will remain open for two weeks (until midnight December 9th). Students who evaluate all their courses will be eligible to win a mini iPad. Students may enroll for a drawing for one of three mini iPads at the end of the course evaluation process on myUTTyler.

To evaluate instruction in courses, click on the Evaluate My Courses link on the myUTTyler home page, and then complete the easy 15-question online evaluations for instructors/courses.

In addition to being eligible to win a mini iPad by completing evaluations before December 10, the university will grant students who complete course evaluations “priority access” to view their semester grades one week earlier than non-respondents. Students who complete course evaluations will have access to grades on myUTTyler on December 20. Students who do not complete course evaluations will have to wait until December 26 to have access to grades through either myUTTyler or Blackboard.

Some classes, such as labs, independent study, student teaching, internship and practicums are not eligible for evaluation and will not appear on the list of courses to be evaluated. If students have no courses eligible for evaluation, they will have priority access to their grades.

Evaluations are anonymous, and instructors will have no ability to view individual responses. A high response rate is important so that the results posted are representative of the views of the entire student body.

The Enrollment Service Center had made a list of FAQs on evaluation of instructors. Please use that resource if you need assistance.
