The University of Texas at Tyler offers various activities this summer. Academic, recreational and athletic camps as well as swim lessons are available.
DIVE (Design Involving Varied Elements) Into Engineering
July 9 – 12 (residential program)

This camp provides an exciting and challenging opportunity for young engineers and scientists to explore the principles behind engineering and computer science while working in a group using the WaterBotics Curriculum to design and build a submersible robot. Faculty will conduct workshops introducing students to career and educational opportunities. Advising staff and student mentors will discuss appropriate preparation for college and STEM related careers. Students will discover and explore life on a college campus and have fun participating in recreational and team building evening activities.

This program will introduce the sport of competitive swimming to young athletes using interval training. Children must be able to swim 50 yards or front crawl to qualify.
