UT EID Upgrade

- To take advantage of many of the restricted features of UT Direct, the user's identity must be verified in person. After a user's identity has been verified a change will be made to the user's UTEID so that they can access the restricted features of UT Direct.
- To set up an appointment to have your UTEID upgraded, please send an email to email@example.com,with the subject of UTEID Request, and someone will contact you with further instructions.
- Please note that the user will be required to present a government-issued picture ID to have their UTEID upgraded (Ex: driver's license, passport, etc).
Remote employees can have their UTEID upgraded. For instructions on the remote upgrade process, please go to UT EID Self-Service Tools, select "Upgrade My UT EID" and follow the instructions.
