UT Tyler Honors Program

Scholarships and Financial Assistance

Your application to the Honors Program also serves as application for the endowed Honors Scholarship. No additional scholarship application is required.

Accepting a scholarship from the Honors Program does not preclude you from accepting or maintaining a scholarship from another department or program.

Incoming Freshmen Students

Students invited to participate in the Honors Program as first-semester freshmen are eligible to receive the endowed Honors Scholarship. Honors students will receive a four-year renewable scholarship that can range from $1,000 - $5,000. Renewal of the scholarship is contingent on the Honors student maintaining good standing in the Honors Program as defined in the Honors Program Handbook.

Current UT Tyler Students

Current UT Tyler students invited to participate in the Honors Associate Program are eligible to receive an endowed Honors Scholarship for $1,000, renewable for two to three years. Renewal of the scholarship is contingent on the Honors Associate maintaining good standing in the Honors Program as defined in the Honors Program Handbook.
