Campus Resources

Campus Activities – Located in the University Center, Room 3400, the Campus Activities office is provides entertaining, cultural, educational and recreational programs and activities.

Campus Bookstore – Located in the University Center and online, students can purchase textbooks, software, university logo apparel, school supplies, gifts, and snacks.

Campus Community Emergency Information – Find links to important campus safety staff, alert systems, and policies. To report an incident on the UT Tyler campus, dial 911 (emergency) or 903-566-7300 (non-emergency).

Campus Computing Center – Located in the Business Building, Room 101, the CCS provides support with Patriot, Blackboard, and Patriot*Email accounts, campus wi-fi, and other campus computing needs.

Campus Dining Services – Campus dining options include the dining hall called The Metamorphosis Café, or “The Met”, a food court and convenience store located in the University Center, and three coffee bars located around campus.

Campus Police - The Campus Police Department ensures a safe campus environment for students, staff, faculty, and visitors.

Cashier’s Office – Make tuition and fee payments, make inquiries about your student financials, and get your P2 (student ID card) made.

Career Services – Located in the University Center, Room 2140, Career Service offers guidance, resources, and support to help Patriot students and alumni navigate the career development process like career fairs, workshops, and other career development resources.

Center for Global Education - Located in the Administration Building, Room 360, the CGE offers assistance to students interested in study abroad and assistance to international students. The CGE coordinates the Student Health Insurance Waiver process but does not provide F-1 immigration advising.

Cowan Center – The University’s performing arts center that brings national performers, artists, and speakers to East Texas. Students receive special ticket pricing.

Enrollment Services Center – Located on the ground level of the Administration Building, this is the place to go for assistance with course registration, requesting transcripts and enrollment verification letters, updates to your student record, applying for graduation, and much more. The ESC serves all UT Tyler students including graduate students.

Harrington Patriot Center – The HPC has basketball and volleyball courts, indoor walking/jogging track, aerobic and free weights areas, fitness studios, and an outdoor recreation and therapy pool as well as classrooms and laboratories.

Housing – Three housing facilities are available on-campus - Ornelas Residence Hall, Patriot Village Apartments or University Pines Apartments.

The Math Learning Center - Located in Ratliff Building North, Room 4021, the MLC is an open-access computer lab for math students with tutors available to assist.

Muntz Library - The library provides access to a vast array of scholarly resources and services to meet the information needs of the UT Tyler community.

Parent and Family Programs – This website provides parents and families to vital information and opportunities to stay connected to campus.

PatriotJobs – The University database to search and apply for on-campus jobs and internships.

Patriot Talon – The student-run campus newpaper.

Patriot Zone – Located in the University Center, the PZ is the campus game room and a small performance venue

Recreational Sports – A variety of fitness, club sports, and outdoor activities are offered year-round.

Research Development – This office offers a variety of services that support faculty and student research development.

Student Counseling Center - Licensed professional counselors are available to provide a variety of services for a wide range of concerns.

Student Government Association  - The SGA is a student organization of elected student representatives that assists the University to identify the interests of the majority of students and assists in providing programs that meet students' needs.

Student Organizations - There are over 80 student organizations on campus that provide opportunities for student to get involved in campus life.

University Center – The heart of student life on campus, located here are: the campus bookstore, the food court, The Met, coffee bar, and student lounge, the campus theater, the Patriot Zone, the Ballroom, and a number of student affairs offices such as Campus Activities, Career Services, Counseling Center, Residence Life, and Student Affairs.

University Health Center – Located on campus, the UHC provides medical treatment and care to students, staff, and faculty.

Writing Center – Located in the Business Building, Room 202, the Writing Center offers writing assistance, workshops, and online resources to students, staff, and faculty.
