Why did you choose to attend UT Tyler?

The University of Texas at Tyler has offered so many wonderful performing and scholastic opportunities. I am thrilled to be able to continue my education here in the heart of East Texas, to be a part of this school and it's growth, and to look forward to continued business, research, and performing opportunities that the University offers today and after degree completion.

What are your career goals and how does your graduate program support them?

My experience here at UT Tyler and the diversity offered through the MAIS program has inspired me to be an advocate for the arts. Upon degree completion, I would like to pursue further education and a career in arts administration.

What do you like most about UT Tyler:

Through both my undergraduate and graduate studies, the most valuable quality of the university has been small student to teacher ratio. Being able to study and work so closely with the faculty has been incredibly influential and a treasured commodity.
