Visiting Artist/Teacher of Voice
One-year, non-tenure-track appointment.
Teach applied voice lessons and courses in opera workshop/music theatre production; additional teaching duties may include diction, vocal pedagogy, and/or other courses as determined by the needs of the department and candidate expertise. Participate in student recruitment and service activities to the university and to the School of Performing Arts. Maintain an active agenda of performance and scholarly activities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master of Music degree required, D.M.A in Voice (or related area) preferred; evidence of significant teaching and performance experience; excellent oral and written communication skills; demonstrated ability and interest in working in a collegial and mutually supportive environment.
RANK: Dependent upon qualifications.
