Welcome to the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning!

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) is dedicated to the advancement of best practices in teaching and learning at The University of Texas at Tyler. Our office supports the strategic plan of UT Tyler to enrich the student experience and advance excellence in teaching by providing high quality professional development to our faculty and staff. 

The CETL provides a variety of services for UT Tyler employees, including sponsoring keynote speakers, asynchronous and synchronous workshops, classroom consultations, and learning cohort discussion groups. We also support innovation in the classroom through our Innovation in Teaching Award and our Active Learning Support Grant.
