The UT Tyler College of Business and Technology and Hibbs Institute for Business and Economic Research will hold the third annual Economic Forecast Summit 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27 at the UT Tyler Ornelas Activity Center.
The event will feature keynote speaker Todd Staples, Texas Department of Agriculture commissioner.
“We want our summit attendees to receive valuable, pertinent information about the current and future economic outlook of East Texas. Commissioner Staples and a presentation of the East Texas Business Outlook Index will provide that,” said Dr. Harold Doty, College of Business and Technology dean.
The Hibbs Institute for Business and Economic Research facilitates business growth and economic development throughout East Texas by serving as a key source of information for regional businesses, governments and economic development agencies.
