Our main campus is located on 320 acres, nestled in the beautiful pine woods of East Texas. Tyler is a medium-sized city with laid-back charm that’s situated less than 100 miles east of Dallas. Get to know our main campus:

Herrington Patriot Center

The Herrington Patriot Center is home to UT Tyler’s recreational facilities and sports teams. The fitness center includes a heated pool, a walking/jogging track and racquetball courts. Our 17 NCAA Division II teams train and play here, as well as at the UT Tyler Baseball & Softball Complex, the Citizens 1st Bank-Perkins Soccer Complex and the Summers Tennis Center.

Cowan Center

The UT Tyler Cowan Center is a regional cultural hub, presenting a variety of professional touring performances, lectures and other events throughout the year.

The Longview University Center is currently home to select bachelor’s degree-granting programs, continuing education courses and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). In our nursing programs, students have access to the latest simulated patient technologies.

UT Tyler’s Palestine Campus trains the next generation of nursing professionals through flexible and convenient BSN and MSN programs using the latest simulated patient technologies. The campus has a healthy endowed scholarship fund for area students.
